Eat Love LiveAccredited Practicing Dietitians / Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinicians / Physiotherapy Eat Love Live is a dynamic, compassionate and inclusive organisation that strives to foster a brave space where clients feel supported, safe and empowered. We are committed to challenging the normalised rhetoric of diet culture and oppression of people in marginalized bodies and identities. Eat Love Live dietitians are experienced dietitians who work with empathy, kindness and compassion. We have a host of clinical and life experiences and are ready to work with you where ever your journey begins. As Accredited Practising Dietitians we are skilled nutrition counsellors who know the science of food and nutrition and can convey this as understandable and practical information for our clients. We provide a space for clients to explore their relationship with food and their body. What has influenced this; what has being helpful, un helpful, what they wish to keep and to change. We don’t lecture our clients on weight and weight loss; (in fact we don’t believe that weight loss is necessary to improve health – but more about that later!) rather we support them to let go of food guilt, fears and body shame. We assist clients to make lasting changes to their health behaviours which have a significant impact on decreasing their risk of illness. We are passionate about helping people to build a more positive relationship with food and their body.Fostering a connection with hunger and satiety and listening to these internal cues rather than external cues like time and place. Eat Love Live are excited to welcome physiotherapy as a new service for our clients, with a particular focus on supporting those with eating disorders and/or poor body image in the recovery process. The relationship that many people have with their bodies and movement is a complex one, and our physiotherapist - Rebecca Gawler - acknowledges the courage it takes to have conversations with a health professional about these topics. Eat Love Live hopes to provide a safe, inclusive and judgement free space to develop a positive relationship with movement and address recovery concerns including bone density and associated injuries, pain and tightness. Rebecca explains this in more detail below. |

| 3 Ducks PsychologyLeah is a registered psychologist with nearly twenty years’ experience working primarily in private practice with children, adolescents, and adults. Leah has been running her own busy private practice since March 2018 and recently relocated to Melbourne from Wagga Wagga in regional NSW. She has also worked in the forensic setting, government psychological health programs and provided supervision to many provisional psychologists. Leah’s primary area of interest and passion is in the treatment and support of those with PTSD particularly amongst our emergency services personnel, first responders, and military servicemen/women, as well as those with complex PTSD from childhood trauma and treatment resistant presentations. Additionally, Leah also works extensively with children with ASD and childhood disorders providing assessment, diagnostic and treatment services. Having worked in a regional centre for her entire career to date, Leah has considerable experience working with all age groups and clinical presentations and has undertaken extensive training in a diverse range of therapeutic approaches and models. However, Leah now works primarily as an ACT practitioner as she feels this is more philosophically aligned with her therapeutic approach to treatment and her clients needs. Leah is very also excited and energised by the future prospect of emerging and evolving treatments involving psychedelics and other non-traditional approaches to help those who have unfortunately not responded to other forms of medical, pharmacological, and psychological therapies and looks forward to undertaking additional training in this space. Leah currently has availability for new clients face to face at Exhale Consulting and can upon request provide telehealth services for those unable to attend in person.
